Cała sieć obecnie żyje zwiastunami megaprodukcji oraz seriali, jakie ukazują się na tegorocznym konwencie Comic-Con w San Diego. W trakcie tej gigantycznej imprezy ma również miejsce inne ważne wydarzenie, a mianowicie rozdanie Nagród Eisnera (The Will Eisner Comic Industry Award). Nagroda ta jest odpowiednikiem Oscarów w branży komiksowej i nazwana została na cześć Willa Eisnera, pioniera komiksu amerykańskiego, scenarzysty i rysownika komiksowego. Przyznawana jest corocznie przez pięcioosobową komisję. Pierwsze rozdanie nagród miało miejsce w 1988 roku podczas Comic-Con International w San Diego.
W tym roku miało miejsce jubileuszowe, trzydzieste rozdanie nagród. Podobnie jak na rozdaniu Oscarów, zwycięzce w danej kategorii przedstawia gość specjalny występujący w roli prezentera. W tym roku w tej roli wystąpiły takie znakomitości jak Nichelle Nichols, Felicia Day, Benedict Wong, Phil LaMarr czy Bill Morrison.Poniżej znajduje się lista kategorii oraz ich zwycięscy:
